This site was founded because i got a tick bite myself. After i went to a docter i was still very interested in these special animals and had the idea of creating a site about it. 

The main goal of this site is to provide pictures of the most common tick species.  Visitors of this site can send pictures to me.  I have the copyright to use all the pictures used on this site.

I also give as much information as possible about ticks and everything around it such as there life cycle, where they live etc.
