Rabbit fever

Rabbit fever is also known as deerly fever or tularemia.

Symptoms: 1 to 14 days after the tick bite

-          Indolent ulcers

-          Swollen lymph nodes

-          Death (not always; based on the strain)

Treatment: antibiotics (Strptomycin, Gentamycin)
